
Dr. Jessica Weiser-McCarthy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Academy of Integrative Medicine. With over twenty years of clinical experience, she practices with both a deep scientific understanding and a firmly held belief that each of us possess a natural ability to heal from within.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Yale College, Dr. Weiser-McCarthy attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Spencer Morris Prize for graduating first in her class. She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard University.
Since 2003, Dr. Weiser-McCarthy has been on the staff of New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, first as a full-time faculty member and program director in the internal medicine residency program and then, as a partner at 72nd Street Medical Associates. Over the last twenty years, she has cared for thousands of patients through a blend of Western and Eastern medical practices, with particular attention to stress management, nutrition, sleep and movement. In 2022, Dr. Weiser-McCarthy solidified her commitment to integrative care and completed a two year fellowship through the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine program.
Dr. Weiser-McCarthy resides in New York City with her husband, two sons and her dog, Macaroni. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and theater.
